Let us be honest here, Montepulciano railway station could do with a lick of paint. Not the most welcoming of views but we were just passing through. This photo was taken from the local train on route to Siena on the final day of the G Adventures Local Living tour of Tuscany. A great ride though, giving a wonderful snapshot of the countryside, as railway journeys do, and loads of ‘if only we could stop’ photographic moments…
